Joe's documentary for homeless life in Nishinari...Pt.6
How to stake out the sleeping place...by Joe?? This is the answer of
those kind of queries....he often used the "extremely-low prized" rooms
in Nishinari....which just costed him only 500 Yen(5 bucks)???
He truly wanted to stay there....but the owner or janitor of rooms turned
down the proposal of him because...owner didn't like or welcome the
young people with "shenanigan" or "cod" for the rooms and...just
with camera that could filmed the details of rooms and places.....therefore,
they should changed the plan of sojourns...but, don't worry, they easily
could find alternative place....which is cleaner than the former one with
500 Yen...
At the front desk...they were provided some pecuniary plans of rooms...
from 1000 to 1500 yen...although the difference of them were not explained...
With some considerations among them...Joe decided to use "1000 yen" ones...
and his friend(camera crew) paid the money to the 1300 yen...due to paragon
the cheaper one and little bit more expensive one by some "services"....
They just entered and filmed the room of friend...as 1300 Yen version....
Fortunately, before the enter of room,
the place has the elevator...therefore, that's not bad for
sojourners and backpackers from foreign countries....moreover,
Moreover, the room occupied by Joe is...very clean and has some
electrical elements like....Television with high definition, radio with
alarming clocks...and of course, bed with clean slates....!!
However, before the ending part...they checked the cleanness of bed
and pillow...the bed covers are not bad but...the stains of pillow by
some sweats or excreta by lots of users....are seriously...besmirched...
that made the fellow to eschew sleeping....
They, in the next , just moved to the Joe's one...as 1000 Yen one...
In that room...the floors of them are not plywood ones but....
Japanese Tatami one which made Joe be so comfortable and
satisfied...of course, the condition and cleanness of Futon is not
a bad but just...possibly clean and okay to sleep in there...
Besides, of course it has small but crystal liquid TV in the corner
of room...but, Joe perceived some problems in this room...that
there are some "smoky" smells and vernacular "damp" atmospheres
which covered and were often usual in Nishinari...because the wall
is very close to the window that could not ventilate the air...
Anyway, Joe is the smoker...regardless of the amounts, and he
just got used to receive the indigenous smells in Nishinari....
and he "survived" in the United States of America to sleep
on the outside world...by his "penniless backpacking..."
But for foreigners or wayfarers who consider using those places...
just be careful and chary for reservation or usage...if you didn't
like some heavy smells of smoky cigarettes or humid condition....
Alright, the Joe's documentary of Nishinari just about to conclude
but has more 3 parts...!!! Don't miss them!!! and...Good Night, Joe!!
