Joe's documentary for homeless life in Nishinari...Pt.8

Joe visited the congregation place of Nishinari..."Airin Center"...

where the people...the homeless ones and one-day workers are often

coming to be purveyed some foods for free by volunteering people and

non-profitable organizations...some jobs from officials, welfare center

and hospital...

In the "vast" second floor there, he often saw some people sleeping

on the "futon of corrugated cartons"..despite in the morning...

Moreover, this place was closed in the night...just opened during

the sunset...thus, that's the "stopgap" rest area for them...

In the day they visited there...some curry cuisines were provided

for free by volunteering people...actually, there is long distance of

"line for foods"...more than 100m.....

In the booth of services, some band were performing the song....

and free massage services by volunteering were supplying for

workers....by beating the shoulders....

Joe just told us about Nishinari....in those sentences...

"Nishinari has the negative and pessimistic perspectives in public images...

However, there are not only some one-day workers but also...

the supporters who succor them...backpackers from foreign countries,

the girls in karaoke pubs...the guys who just wanna eat some soul

foods of grilled giblets...and the aunt who cooks 100 Yen Ramen....

Thus, although there are lots of serious problems in Nishinari...

people just live in the "outre daily scenes" and

"ordinary lives like us".... invariably....

Truly, there are lots of hard workers in various ways...to support

somebody, just fend for themselves in hard-and-fast lives....

and just want to see and feel the humanities like Joe....

Alright, let's move the second part...about "one-day workers".

Joe just explained the systems and rates of salary of them...

that they could gain about 9000 yen per days...

They don't have to submit some resume and identifications

to got the job in a day....just get the line and get on the van

or midsize bus....of course, there are lots of "agents" to

introduce and manage the workers....and welfare treatments...

with some profits...of course, Joe also scouted by them...

but he turned down their offers because....he put off the

"yakkas or peons"...but just wandering or reporting the

cities and people...hahaha.

Anyway, next one...is the last for his documentary....!!

Do not miss it!!
