Above the railways of bullet trains...Ueno-Tokyo Line.
On purpose of the enhancement of convenience for customers,
mitigation of exaggerated rates of passengers on train and
bolster for conveyance and fluent diagrams...JR finally decide to
build this additional lines above the Shinkansen...
that connected the Tohoku Line and
Tokaido Line...thus, the Ueno and Tokyo Sta.
Both were formerly departed because the lines between them
were used as temporary garages and could not use them...
Some trains from North Kanto area to South Kanagawa area
are available as Shonan-Shinjuku Line (via Yamanote cargo line,
through some major stations in Tokyo)
Those are the substitution for direct lines between them...partly.
However, it is not substantive for replacement enough....thus,
they determined to construct the project of Ueno-Tokyo Line...
As you see, from Tokyo to Akihabara(passing), the railways are
going up...above the bullet trains' ones...hence, the scenery is
so high and interesting...before passing Akiba, the altitude of
railway is same as the proximal ones...and continue that height
to the Ueno...
When the lines are open, the efficiency and convenience of
connection between Tohoku and Tokaido Lines surged....
people do not have to take off in Ueno and Tokyo to reach
both station by layover to other trains...especially Yamanote
line and Keihin-Tohoku Line...which both were much crowd and
sometimes late because of that...moreover, other major lines began
to use the lines...to go to Tokyo for convenience for passengers...
Nevertheless, there are also negative sides of them....because of
the intricate points in Ueno Sta. that was shared
by plural lines....sometimes it causes some delays against diagrams...
Moreover, some passengers were confused because of some changes...
Anyway, this would be the savior of excessive boarding rates and
convenient diagrams...especially for commuters in business weeks.
