The Kitanist "Nagaharu Yodogawa" loves Kids Return by Takeshi Kitano

"The most beautiful and best scene in Kids Return is...

the bicycle scene of two juveniles, that is the most euphoric scene

in this movie, even nobody(other critics) mentioned that..."

Mr.Yodogawa adored Kids Return, the adolescent movie by as you know

Takeshi Kitano...filmmaker who is still tremendously famous and popular

in this world. Yodogawa, of course, loves the whole films of Kitano and

always phrased and lauded them same as Akira Kurosawa the maestro

of Japanese movies. However, especially Kids Return is the best movie

of Yodogawa...he always did quoth about that.

In that(up) interview, he gave the encomiums to the movie...for instance,

" In the pugilism(boxing) scene, (just ringing) bang bang bang bang....

It is very ingenious and fabulous.

That scene(moment) has the essences that was not and should not be in the literal one...

but only can be in the films... Takeshi is the Genius. "

He also mentioned the scene of bicycle...

"If that scene were by the cars or motorcycles...it should be boring

and tepid. I think the bicycles are the symbol of young age,  adolescence

and juveniles. I was impressed that by bicycle, moreover I impressed more

the pose of riding by two juveniles(reckless one, both can't recognize the

front). That depicted the poetic expression of this movie....unconditionally."

He also expressed Takeshi Kitano as the "best writer who adroitly and

ingeniously delineates the males...especially from young boy to the

adolescent one...in all of his movies". Anyway,

Mr.Nagaharu Yodogawa is absolutely the Kitanist and his best

movie is...Kids Return.

Wish Mr.Yodogawa to watch and enjoy A Takeshi Kitano films

in the heaven...with one of his best friends "Akira Kurosawa".
